Serving hungry residents of northern Hunterdon County and southern Warren County.
Open Cupboard Food Pantry, Inc., is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency . We believe our community has a responsibility to address the food needs of those who cannot afford to feed themselves and their families. Although less visible than in urban areas, the need in Hunterdon and Warren County is significant.
Staffed entirely by volunteers, Open Cupboard Food Pantry in Clinton, New Jersey, and The Washington Basket, in Washington, NJ are funded by donations of food and money, and by proceeds of our in-house Thrift Shop in Clinton, which accepts and sells donated clothing and household items. Thrift Shop Donations
Open Cupboard Food Pantry & Thrift Shop in
Clinton welcomes donations of food, personal care items, household necessities, kitchen items, clothing, and more to our Donation Hub in Gray Rock Plaza in Clinton.
Donation hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am to 12:30pm. For more information, call 908-730-7320.
The Pantries
The Pantry in Clinton is open to receive your food donations Thursday and Saturday from 9:30am to 12:00pm in the parking lot of the Health and Wellness Center, or by appointment.
The Pantry in Washington is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 9am to 12pm, and Thursday evening 4pm to 7pm. For more information, call 908-730-7320.
**All organized food drives, please call to arrange a mutually convenient time for drop-off.
Hours
The Washington Basket is open, by appointment only, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9am to 12pm, and Thursday from 4pm to 7pm.
Open Cupboard Food Pantry is currently located in the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center, by appointment only, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am to 12:30pm, and Wednesday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
