As many of you are aware, there was a devastating fire at Open Cupboard Food Pantry & Thrift Shop on Sunday, February 25th. The shop and pantry were both destroyed. Our number one priority is to assist our pantry clients, and we will be utilizing the Washington Basket to do this moving forward.

Our community has been so wonderful in asking how they can assist us in this challenging time. If you would like to donate, simply click the “How to Donate” tab above and it will take you to our donation page where you can use PayPal to assist us as we rebuild. Any Shoprite gift cards can be sent to our PO box, or dropped off at Reiner Insurance, 37 Main Street, Clinton, NJ 08809.

A centralized location has been established for food collection of non-perishable items. The High Bridge Reformed Church located at 23 Church Street in High Bridge New Jersey has graciously opened their doors and has provided Open Cupboard space to collect and store non-perishable items from the community. The church is able to receive these donations during the following hours and days: Monday through Friday 9am – 2pm.

This community has come together like no other and with your support and continued well wishes we will resume operations next Tuesday, March 5 at our Warren-County location in Washington Township New Jersey.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you are able to give us as we work to rebuild and continue on our mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Thank you!
